Virginia Anne Dillon of Charleston, SC, and Eric Simon Bouillerot of Evreux, France were married April 14, 2012 at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church in Charleston. The Rev. Daniel W. Massie performed the 4:30 pm ceremony assisted by Commissioned Lay Pastor Isca Mitchell, the bride's great-aunt. Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Jee Yoon Choi, Mary Scholtens and the Kirk Choir. A reception followed at Lighthouse on the Creek.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Dillon, Jr., of Charleston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ann Bryan and the late Martin Bryan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dillon, Sr., all of Waynesboro, VA.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University and a Master's from the University of Chicago. She is Reading for a DPhil in History at Somerville College, Oxford.
The groom is the son of Mr. Alain Bouillerot of Mouchan, France and the late Mrs. Christine Bouillerot. He is the grandson of Mr. Jean Bouillerot and the late Mrs. Marie Bouillerot of Plouenan, France, Mr. Pierre Chardon of Montevideo, Uruguay and the late Mrs. Simone Chardon of Paris, France.
He earned a Diplome d'ingenieur from the Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics and a Master's from Northwestern University. He is employed as a Civil Engineer with Setec.
Jessica Morgan was maid of honor. Bride's attendants were Anais Bouillerot, Michelle Bryan, Bryan, Rachel Bryan, Katherine Rooney and Kelly Taylor. Best man was Pierre Bouketir. Groomsmen were Matthieu Blin, Tyler Carter, Bryan Dillon, Guillaume Olivier, Julien Remba and Thibault Riche.The couple will reside in Paris, France.
