Ginny's Album 2007


  This spring I returned to my alma mater, Orange Grove Elementary, as a long-term substitute third grade teacher.  The experience gave me a new appreciation for the job my mother has been doing for so many years!  Here Mom, Bryan and I are saying goodbye to the old building, due to be razed for the construction of a new school on the site.

Backpacking
In August Dad and I backpacked 25 miles in the North Carolina mountains.  We conquered both Shining Rock and Cold Mountain over the three-night trip, reading the civil war era novel by Charles Frazier as we went.  A highlight was waking up at 4:00 AM to watch the meteor shower!
