District 10 Resolution 0601
Whereas, the West Ashley High School
Graduation of June 2, 2006 held at The North Charleston Coliseum had
ample seating,
And Whereas, Noisemakers,
balloons and signs were banned,
And Whereas, the ceremony was
slowed to a pace of sufficient dignity that each graduate could be
individually acknowledged,
And Whereas, the Trustees of
the Constituent Board have heard much praise of this year’s ceremony,
Be it resolved that the West Ashley High School administration and
staff are commended for an excellent job of re-working what was
an undignified event into a dignified, meaningful ceremony
Be it
also resolved that you have the thanks of the Constituent Board,
the Graduates and their families.
