To the Friends of St. Andrews District #10 :
Dr. Nancy McGinley formally announced today a fairly
extensive reorganization at the Associate Superintendent level.
Her PDF letter explaining the new staffing changes
to parents throughout the Charleston County School District is available from the main CCSD site.
The D10 Board is pleased to welcome Dr. Doug Gepford to an expanded role as the head of all our elementary schools here West of the Ashley. Ms. Patricia Yandle will continue in her supervisory capacity with our three middle schools. And Mr. Lou Martin
will serve as Associate Superintendent for West Ashley High in an
interim capacity, while a search is underway to identify a more
permanent tenant.
We've been aware that these changes were on the horizon for
several weeks now, and anticipate a smooth transition. The Board
wishes Dr. Vashti Washington well in her new assignment with the elementary
schools of Districts 3 and 4.
And we'll look forward to working with all the Constituent District's
superintendents, both new and old, as the school year develops.
